For me, North was always the best windsurf sail brand. Always innovative.

In 2018, Boards&More lost the license to the name North Sails. They have continued under the name Duotone. Very unfortunate.
Last years North Sails under Boards&More, I got the feeling that they were deteriorating. In retrospect, this was perhaps to make the brand name less valuable.

Since 2022, North Sails is back. North Sails themselves (the sailing brand) is making windsurf sails again, with their most modern techniques. Pieter Bijl is their sail designer.
