Trim Dots
If you buy a RAM F8 checkthis articleto see if the trim dots are in the right place.
action
This sail has a little less handling than the Daytona, which was just softer, but with 3 cambers the difference is not that big. With 4 Cambers, the sail is quite a lot stiffer. gyben is therefore slightly less, but control highwind is noticeably better with 4 cambers.
fast
This is a really fast sail, even with only 3 cambers. I had already sailed quite a few slalom races with my Daytonas when I first sailed this RAM F8 during the BK in 2010. Normally, I always lost something on the straight at speed. Now I was able to keep up with even the toppers quite well.
Sold
Due to upgrade to aRAM F10 6.3, sold it.
Masts
This sail belongs on a Gold 430cm, but I will probably sail more on my Platinum 430cm.
