Busy times at De Punt
Rarely seen so busy at de Punt, probably cause by the wind direction, South is not good for the sea side, the Germans had a long weekend: so extremely busy on the inside.
Many familair faces. Wind less than predicted, but enough to have fun.

Few hours with the Starboard iSonic 101, Venom 36 cm and Warp 7.0.
Wind was minimal in the beginning, with the outhaul set to minimum I could sail all the time, but going upwind was not possible in the lighter wind.
For the new bungalow park there was a solid steep chop, there was the best, but the Venom gave the control and confidence to be reasonably hard to push through.
Wind rose well and was delicious. In the back at Hompelvoet was the water surface. The speed surfers were behind the stones, I am not. Together with Jurjen and Menno quite some long reaches. Certainly in the hard wind I ran easy enough height.

Waves were heavy, but it was a good workout.

De Punt

12:15 2.75 hour Wind: S 16/22 kts
Board: Starboard iSonic 101 - C3 Venom v2 36cm
Sail: North Warp F2009 7.0 - North Platinum(09) 460cm - AL360 E3 Carbon 180-230
Yes, the Venom 36cm is a great fin for this set, only if the wind is a bit minimal, it loses it upwind ability, board not as loose, so less speed. But with a little more wind it runs super nice, never any spinouts and gives enough rest and confidence to be full committed, even in high and steep chop, were others have to back off a bit.
