Afternoon Light wind session
Cold Weekend, RegioCup Zuid cancelled due to cold, but late in the afternoon it would be warm enough and just 12 knots ENE.
Arrived at 15:00 at Grevelingendam, only 3 kiters. However, decided to rig up, 3 kiters is still somebody on the water.

iSonic 127 with Warp 9.0 and Z-Finnish 46
The Z-Fins SL 46cm is a S--, and that is noticable on the water, board flies really loose over the water. Fin provides a lot of lift.
Wind was very gusty, from too little to sometimes nicely powered. Most of the time my stance on the board was not good.
Leaning too much forward, think my trim just wasn't good.
The Z-Fins gives a lot of lift for its length, board runs very loose. Front footstrap is out of the water, board on the rail: great!

iSonic 127 with Warp 9.0 and Boss 49
Much more familiar than the Z-Fins, but still the trim not great. Have sailed too little with the Warp 9.0.
Clearly still have to find the best trim for the Warp 9.0, again was not pleasant, too far forward with my body.
But It could also be that the wind was really just too minimal.

Certainly at the end when the sun was good, it was nice. Warmer and more wind.
Not the best day, but good to have sailed the 9.0 again.

Sail: North Warp F2015 LW 9.0 - North Platinum(14) 490 - Severne Enigma 210-260
  First time with the Z-Fins 46 S--. Footstraps in the rear position. Not a lot planing, only in the gusts. Was not really good with pumping, maybe the fin too small? Once planing, the board runs extremely loose, yet with controlled. Fin really delivers a bizarre amount of lift. Still need to find the best trim, all the pressure on my back foot, gives my feeling just too little control in combination with the amount of lift. Board flies over the water with this fin, really quick.

  Footstraps all the way in the rear. Only in the gusts good. Could get upwind, in the harder gusts certainly better. Sometimes could not find a good stance on the boardI.
