Wonderful day at Grevelingendam
Wind direction was predicted W/NW: perfect for the Grevelingendam.
Arrived early, so not many people on the water yet. They sailed with relatively large sails: 6.6 and 7.3. But also a few with 5.5 planing.
Wind should come through well, so 6.0 should be possible. With this wind direction the Grevelingen sometimes can have nice chop for jumping.

Set was a good choice. Could plane directly out of the bay. Many long sailed a lot of long runs to the other side. Occasionally a wave to jump. But found it a bit disappointing for the Grevelingen, most waves were just not steep enough. Many friends on the water. By planing gybes did not always go well. Too little pressure in my sail to be able to make good speed before the gybe. And after the gybe no pressure in the sail to excelerate of of the turn.

Was a nice day. Lots of sun, constant wind. Enjoyable.

Set worked very well. In the beginning minimal trim and upper outhaul. Wind slowly increased switched to lower outhaul and slightly more downhaul.
Set worked well. Jumps nicely. Not many high waves, but sometimes was still able to find beautiful ramps. Gybing went great. Set was pretty fast, although I couldn't keep up with the slalom sets.
