Sunny gusty afternoon
East 18 to 25 knots predicted, perfect for the Grevelingendam.
It was pleasantly busy. All sizes of sails on the water 4.7 to 7.4.

Banzai 6.0 with JP FSW 102 and MFC 32cm
Get on and planed already in the bay. In the shallows I stood still again. Wind came back, planing again and on the other side the sail was already too big: overpowered. Water generally very flat. In the gusts, the board easily got upwind. Jibing was often very easy and planing jibes were often very easy. Sail on/over maximum trim and I always had control. In the gusts, the fin could be smaller. Sailed until the wind was gone most of the time and I was tired anyhow.

It was already nice and warm, winter suit was even warm, first time this year with summer boots.
Wind was quite gusty, big wind holes. The windmills seemed to disturb the wind a lot. Outside the wind area behind the windmills, so on the other side, the wind seemed clearly better.

Present: Madelon, Marius (SurfinTwin), Martijn (super_ik)

12:30 3.25 hour Wind:
Board: JP Freestyle Wave 102 Pro - MFC Freewave 32cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 6.0 - Goya Hunderd Pro 430 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked very good, sail ended up with maximum trim. In the gusts the wind was very strong, but still just doable. In the wind holes sometimes not possible to get planing. Never control problems. A lot of planned gybes. Sailed with double rear foot straps.
