Too bad: hardly any wind
Forecast had changed, at first Wednesday seemed to be the best day, but on Tuesday morning it seemed much better on Tuesday. Could move some meetings so I could take afternoon off.
On arrival it was quite busy on the beach, hardly anyone surfing. Wind had just gone.
Most had sailed with 5.0 or 5.3. So in the end rigged a size bigger, that should be enough.

Banzai 6.0 with JP FSW 102 and MFC 32cm
Already on the beach it was clear that wind was very minimal. I was still hoping that the wind would come back.
Unfortunately, it was mainly a lot of bobbing with occasionally a short run planing.
Took a break and then tried again for a while. For a moment it seemed better, then the wind really seemed to disappear: so just stopped.

Sometimes you are luckky, today was certainly not such a day.

Blokkendam

15:15 1.25 hour Wind: W/SW
Board: JP Freestyle Wave 102 Pro - MFC Freewave 29cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 6.0 - Goya Hunderd Pro 430 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Sail on minimum trim and even tried under minimum trim. Wind was just not strong enough. But with in the hardest gusts, with a little pumping and a small wave, I could sometimes get planing. The 102 was too small, with so little wind the board was quite difficult, actually just too little volume for so little wind.
