Nice afternoon
Finally a good prediction, WNW is perfect for the Grevelingendam.
Luckily I could spend an afternoon away from work.
Most surfers had rigged 5.5 or 6.0, the slalom guys were on 7.0. So I took the 5.9.

JP FSW 102 with Duke 5.9 and MFC Freewave 29 cm
Wind was harder then I expected. had to trimm the sail over max to be able to sail comfortable.
Jibing was easy, almost always planing. Set jumped really well, if I could find some chop to jump of, water was a bit flat. In the stronger gusts, the board just a little bit less comfortable, going down wind got was no longer comfortable.
Back to shore for a smaller vin.

On the water the wind seemed just a little less, the vin working amazingly well, no spinouts, and had expected that the control would be less, not so.
Unfortunately wind slowly dropped and thus this fin was not the best choice.

Good afternoon, good to be sailing at the Grevelingendam again.

Grevelingendam

13:30 1.5 hour Wind: NW
Board: JP Freestyle Wave 102 Pro - MFC Freewave 29cm
Sail: North Duke 5.9 - North Gold 430cm - Aeron V-Grip 160-210
Set worked well, 5.9 was a bit big, but with more then max trim the sail still worked well. Fin was a bit big in the gusts, but not too big. Jumps pretty good, planing gybes: easy.
15:15 1.25 hour Wind: W/NW
Board: JP Freestyle Wave 102 Pro - JP Freestyle Wave 29cm
Sail: North Duke 5.9 - North Gold 430cm - Aeron V-Grip 160-210
Set works well, vin has less lift than the MFC 29cm. In the stronger gusts fine, but with decreasing wind not the best choice.
