Lovely summer evening session
2 forecasts: either between 4pm and 6pm winds, or between 6pm and 8pm. Aimed to be at the beach around 4pm.
Construction for Concert-at-Sea had already started, 1.5 weeks the festival, a bit early. So normal spot was not possible, but from the snacks restaurant you could still go on the beach.

Banzai 6.0 on the F-Cross 113 with Select 35cm
Wind was disappointing: really only bobbing. In the beginning I mainly tried to get more upwind to get further from the dunes in the hope of more wind. That wasn't enough, I really had to wait for the wind to slowly increase. In the beginning I needed a lot of pumping to get planing for a couple of meters. Slowly, the wind got better. In the end, I was able to plane constantly for a while. Water flat, hardly waves. When the wind was better, I could sometimes do planing jibes. Later the wind subsided again, less easy to get planing and more bobbing. Time to stop.

So the wind really came close to 6pm. Windguru HARM-NL was right.
No other windsurfers on the water. 3 stray kiters that came a little too far downwind. At the end 2 wingers.
Unfortunately I only had 3 sails with me, I had left the trailer at home because I could not easily get it out of the garage today.
With 25 degrees clear blue sky, it was wonderful weather.

16:30 2 hour Wind: N
Board: Patrik F-Cross 113 - Select Edge 35cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 6.0 - Goya Hunderd Pro 430 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Sail on minimal trim, later even under minimal trim. Wind actually too light for the 6.0. Fin is prefect for this wind, once in plane I could always get upwind. Fin never felt too large.
