Short fun session at sea
In the afternoon Avans Live festival, so a short session. Only took the car, 2 boards, 3 sails, everything in the car, except my harness: forgotten. Doubtful what to do. Ended up buying a new one, my Gaastra is already 7 years old.

Banzai 4.7 with Goya One 95 and MFC 12/19cm
Directly planing form the beach. 4.7 clearly correct size, only slightly adjusted the outhaul once.
Water was relatively flat, only a few really beautiful waves. Sometimes you would find a line and you could do 3 back-side hits. The One 95 could get up the wave fairly vertically and also straight down again. Also tried front side a number of times ,if the wave seemed good enough for that, that often worked.
Jumping wasn't too good today. Rear footstrap is too wide, I have to look into this.

It was short, but tasty. Too bad about the rain at the end.
My front-side waveriding is improving.

Blokkendam

11:45 1.75 hour Wind: W/SW
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - MFC TF RTM 19cm/MFC TF 2x12cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 4.7 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked very well, 4.7 was the right size. Good control, easy upwind, fairly quick. Jumping was not the best, not my direction. Waveriding was great, if I could find waves.
