Dam-X 2022 training
The afternoon before Dam-X: slalom start training. Starting line, and 2 buoys: improve start timing, round the first mark, back to the start for another round.
Wind minimal, for free sailing 7.3 might just be possible. But when starting with more than 10 surfers, you need a larger set, so rigged my largest set.

S-Type SL 8.3 with iSonic 117 and Busca 46cm
Kit planed early, could get upwind well. At the startline, just behind the dam of the harbor, there was clearly less wind.
Start 1: Way too late, no pressure in my sail
Start 2: This time 5 seconds early.
Start 3: Perfect, almost in the signal, clear first, first round the mark, without a real slalom sail.
Start 4: Wind death, but still reasonable in the front, think 5th over the line.

Nice to get used to start time again. Went a little better, but wind was really minimal.
Wind minimal, not cold at all.

Dam-X training. Wind gusty, in the gusts the 46cm was big, but not too big. But could easily get upwind if I could plane. Sail on medium trim: very good range, outhaul was needed today.
