Short flat water session
Wind dead south, almost ZZO. So the water was very, very flat.
Found a moment that it was not raining.
Trailer needed service, so took only 2 boards.

Banzai 5.3 with the Wave Slate 96 and 21/11cm fins
Due to the wind direction, the wind did not come through. I had expected to sail with 3.7 or 4.2.
5.3 was the largest size I had with me. With minimal trim in the 5.3 I could always plane, but 6.0 would have been better.
Board ran pretty good upwind. Only sometimes some very small waves for a chop hopping or half attempt for a back-side hit.

Water was very flat, with the Wave Slate not really the most fun, a Freestyle Wave would have been more fun.
Sailed until it would start raining again for a longer period..

Not cold, no rain while sailing. Unfortunately, the direction was very SO.

13:45 1.25 hour Wind: S/SE
Board: JP Wave Slate 96 Pro - MFC TF 21cm/MFC TF 2x11cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Sail on minimum trim. Water almost completely flat. Could almost always plane. Board ran fairly well cross wind. A few times small jump over the chop. Waveriding not really possible. Gybing easy, sometimes even a planing gibe. Actually not the best board for flat water, a freemove or freestyle wave sails way easier and is more fun on flat water.
