Nice sunshine
Wind was predicted SSW, never the best waves, but can be fun. Sun, no rain. I was able to stop working a few hours earlier.
Most surfers stopped when I arrived. They had sailed with 4.0 to 5.3. Opted for 4.7. With SSW it is often fairly flat so good for the freewave
Banzai 4.7 on the Goya One 95 with 20/10cm thrusters
Planing from the beach. Often there is no wind behind the dam due to the wind direction and low tide. Further out, even more wind: full-power with the 4.7. Flat water indeed. Almost cross against the waves. Sailing back in, sometimes back-side waveriding. Very occasionally long lines with up to 4 hits, but often just flat water.
After an hour we went to the beach increase the trim in the sail and take a sip. After that, the wind quickly decreased and it became increasingly difficult to plane. Sail at minimum trim didn't help either: time to call it a day.
Was a lot of fun for a while. Especially sometimes nice multiple hit back-side waveriding.
Unfortunately, the wind dropped completely at the end. Temperature was quite good, even sailed without a cap for a while.

| First hour full house. Set worked well, fins big enough. Sometimes fun back-side wave riding. A bit of jumping. Check well. The 20/10cm fins worked well, didn't feel too big. | ||
