Light wind at sea
In the morning no time, so not early on the dam, wind would decrease. But on arrival, surfers where still planing with 5.0.

JP FSW 102 with Banzai 5.3 and Makani 26cm
Wind not very strong, 5.3 on minimum trim, then I could sail well. But actually, I think 6.0 would have been better. Water very flat, hardly any waves to jump or to ride.
Went to the sandbar with Ronny, no waves there either. Seen a lot of seals from a distance. After a while there was a big shower, maybe it would bring wind: unfortunately wind just collapsed. So to the side beach to shelter and after the shower rigged a bigger set. Really bigger.

iSonic 101 with e-Type 6.6 and Busca 34cm
Good choice to go straight to the 6.6. Sometimes even that was minimal, but mostly it was delicious. Water quite flat, so very nice sailing with the iSonic 101. Towards the end, the tide came in and the waves increased. That sometimes made it harder. Sailed until the wind dropped to much I could hardly plane anymore.

Little too flat water at sea for my liking, with these kinds of conditions I like sailing on the lake side much better, less sand. But I did have a good time.

Present: Ronny

13:00 1.5 hour Wind: S/SW
Board: JP Freestyle Wave 102 Pro - Makani Kaku 26cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
First hour I could easily plane with minimum trim. But wind sometimes decreased around the showers and then it was really planing on my toes. Sometimes bit chop-hopping, but no real waves, so also not wave riding.
15:00 1.5 hour Wind: S/SW
Board: Starboard iSonic 101 - Busca Slalom 34cm
Sail: North E-Type 6.6 - North Platinum(11) 460 - AL360 E3 Carbon 180-230
Set worked well, wind still varied a lot. Sometimes really full power, sometimes bobbing. But mostly relaxed planing. Set worked well. Only in the harder gusts with rising tides did it sometimes become more difficult to sail out, it was mandatory to jump.
