Disappointing wind
Prediction was 20 to 30 knots W/SW, wind was rather S/SW and 18 to 22 knots.
Most were sailing with 5.0/5.3. Only the brothers Slaa were sailing with 6.0.
Wind would increase, so rigged the 5.3.

Goya One Pro 95 with Banzai 5.3 and 22,5/10cm fins
Set sailed nicely. Planed early, unfortunately few waves for jumping or waveriding. Did find a few steep wave. Few attempts to go front side. Only succeeded 1 time. Usually too little pressure in my sail to reach the lip. Many surfers often stood still. I could almost always plane. Had to go upwind consciously, but then I also got upwind very well. Control was very good, sail was never on the big side and water very flat.

Wind was disappointing, more was predicted, wind should increase, but actually decreased.
No sun or rain, but not really cold either. Although the water is clearly getting colder.

  Sail: minimum trim. I could plane quite easily. Stood still less often than boys with larger sails. To get upwind I had to sail with all the pressure on my front foot. But then went very well. Unfortunately few waves.
