Short nice afternoon
Couldn't leave early, had to leave on time, but forecast looked very good.
On arrival, most were sailing with 4.2 and 4.5. Slightly decreasing winds predicted: 4.7.
Surfers told me there were be pretty good waves, so took the Slate as a quad.

Banzai 4.7 on the Slate 94 with MFC 300/10cm
Good choice, especially in the beginning: great. Even sailing out already some waveriding: I don't do that enough.
Back to the beach a lot of nice waves for 1 or 2 back-side hits. Many beautiful waves up to a meter high or just a little more. 2nd run in, 2 attempts front-side because the waves were so beautiful. All in all, I think I tried about 10 front-side hits, of which 5 worked well: really nice.
After about half an hour high-tide had passed and the waves became less: unfortunately. Later, the wind also became less. Finished with sail on minimum trim and last bit of bobbing back to the beach.

Short session, I couldn't get to the beach earlier and I had to leave on time. The first half hour was great.
It was cloudy, wind fairly constant, it was certainly not cold.

Blokkendam

13:30 1.75 hour Wind: SW
Board: JP Wave Slate 96 Pro - MFC QS 300/MFC TF 2x10cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 4.7 - Goya Ninety Pro 370 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
In the beginning sail on max trim, set worked very well. Ran upwind really well. Control was good, waveriding wonderful: even a few times front-side. Later the wind subsided, the waves became lower. Less trim in the sail: getting upwind a lot more difficult.
