Short intense session
Forecast was very good for a nice evening session at Brouwersdam south: after 2pm or 3pm strong NNW wind predicted.
Upon arrival, the wind turned out to be much more NW or even WNW, and also almost high tide: Difficult shore-break!
Best plan: 1 time through the shore-break and then sail on until you are tired or high tide is really over.

It was just before high tide, walking into the water during the highest waves to get on the board just behind the highest waves. I was quick through the shore-break.
I was able to get upwind really quick. Perfect waves to jump with the right foot in front: my preferred side. Already on the first run my best table-top ever. Often looking for a really steep wave, sometimes suddenly a big wall right in front of you. Really cool jumping. On the other side of the bay, the break was a lot calmer, nice to rest or trim the sail every now and then. During the first runs I had to increase the trim each time. Waves were sometimes really nice, 2 or 3 back-side hits and then being able to take the next wave. I have little experience with wave riding with left foot in front, I really had to get used to it, but it was getting better and better. Front-side wave riding? Certainly not. Somehow my body doesn't want to turn to the right at all, felt wrong, clearly something to work on. Waves were slowly getting worse and I was already getting quite tired and really needed to drink something. So through the shore-break out, rinsed 1x. I took a good look at the shore break from the beach: I really won't go through that again: time to stop.

Short session, still a bit tired from yesterday morning good wind again.
Nice to ride wave left foot in front, I definitely need to practice more often. Waves were really nice and high at times.

17:15 1.25 hour Wind: SW
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - MFC Freewave (20) 21cm/MFC TF 2x11cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked well, started with minimum trim, but after half an hour over max trim: wind increased very quickly. Fins were a bit big, could get upwind too easily. Control was good. Board didn't turn super tight, but because of the very high swell/waves: up to 2 meters high, that was actually quite nice. Jumping with right front: my direction, sometimes high. Pretty good table-top done.
