Finally SW wind and warmer weather: season has started
After months too cold, no wind or Carnival. Today finally SW wind again and warm enough. A lot of rain was predicted, checked the latest rain prediction in the morning: Seemed to stop raining around noon, so I aimed to arrive at 12:00 at the Brouwersdam.
Banzai 4.7 on the One 95 with WhiteWater 20/MFC 11 thrusters
Get on the board and plane. First wave immediately a smal jump. Low tide, so relatively flat. Jibe, back to the beach: jumping and a bit of back-side wave riding.
Sailing outward mainly became getting upwind to be able to do a bit more waveriding on the way back in. Jibing on the outside was often a planning jibe.
Another DaKine Core Contour broken.
Timing was very good. After rigging it stayed dry and the wind was good all the time.
Unfortunately my condition is not very good, so I get tired relatively quickly. Wonderful to have sailed again.

| Set worked very well. The 4.7 on max trim. Sail trim was perfect, never too big and I could always plane. The WhiteWater 20cm worked great again. Only low waves for wave riding. But that went very well with the WhiteWater. A lot of planing jibes. |
