Tropical evening: great
I got out of the car and there was a really warm wind: bizarre.
I couldn't leave work early so arrived just before 6. It was not very busy.
Most were sailing with 5.0 and 5.3,
Banzai 5.3 on the Goya One 95 with 22.5/11cm thrusters
I had rigged with minimum trim, wind didn't seem very strong. It didn't take long before sail was at maximum trim. It was almost high tide, since wind was less strong before, there were not many high waves. But you could find some nice ones. Lots of back-side wave riding. Often 2 hits on 1 wave. Sometimes stringing 2 waves in a row. Even managed to make 5 hits once. My timing was not always right, sometimes I was too late for the top-turn or wave not steep enough. Tried a few times front-side, that actually went better than expected with the One, that went really well a few times. Later the wind decreased a bit, the waves also decreased a bit. Ended with almost minimum trim again.
It was delicious. Temperature was very nice, good wind and pretty good waves: amazing!!
2/2mm suit was warm, incomprehensible that some (Henk) were sailing with 4/3mm: warm!!
Fortunately no swimmers, in terms of temperature that was possible. But that is always means you need to be extra careful when you get close to the beach.

| The Banzai showed it strength again, the range is so big. From minimum trim to max trim and back to minimum trim: I could always plane. In the strongest wind the fins could have been smaller, but were never really too big, I could get upwind very easily. Back-side wave riding usually went well, timing was sometimes off. Front-side went better than I expected with the One. | ||
