Nice afternoon onshore wind
Wind at the Grevelingendam just not quite west, just a tad too much south. On the Brouwersdam, just a little north. So not really great anywhere.
The Brouwersdam with a little north is always better than the Grevelingendam with a little south.

Banzai 5.3 on the F-Cross 113 with MFC 32cm
Wind seemed to be a bit disappointing, with this direction you need to be able to get upwind well enough get away from the beach, therefore used MFC Freewave 32cm and not the 29cm.
I could plane directly, get upwind, past t Gorsje and then back to the end of the Blokkendam. After a couple of runs upwind you could do runs from the lighthouse to the main beach of the Brouwersdam, did a few long 4km runs with Henk. In the beginning the set worked great, planed early, ran well upwind. Later the waves got higher and it became a bit more difficult with the 32cm. Wind also increased a bit, so sail could be trimmed a bit more. Waves started to become fun enough for wave riding, which unfortunately isn't really possible with the F-Cross with 32cm fin and foot straps on the outboard position. After a while we went for a drink. I also took the One 95 to the beach. The wind had increased considerably, so I immediately took the 95.

Banzai 5.3 on the Goya One 95 with MFC 22.5/11cm thrusters
Normally I would take the 21cm center fin, but to be able to get upwind well enough, I took the 22.5cm.
A little more trouble to get planing than with the F-Cross 113, that was to be expected. Getting upwind went very well: thrusters!! Back towards the dam I did some jumping. Bit of wave riding, back-side only. Enjoy. Set sailed wonderfully.

It was lovely, wind fairly constant, lots of sun. Delicious.
Next time with this direction: start at Brouwersdam itself, and sail from there towards the lighthouse.

Blokkendam

Present: Gert-Jan, Henk (Ouwe), Ronny

12:00 1.25 hour Wind: W
Board: Patrik F-Cross 113 - MFC Freewave 32cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked well for the conditions. Wind full onshore at the Blokkendam, so had to take a longer fin to be able to get upwind easily, for better wind and to get away from the beach. Set ran nice and loose and fast. Later the waves got higher and the 32cm fin became a bit big, Jumping was ok.
13:30 1.25 hour Wind: W
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - MFC Freewave 22,5cm/MFC TF 2x11cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Sail at max trim in the beginning. Normally these fins would be too big, but on-shore wind, so more fin needed to get away from the beach.
Set ran well and easily upwind, control good. Jumping well. Later minimum trim, so happy with the range of the Banzai.
