Perfect surfing weather, too bad we have seaweed
Forecast looked perfect for the Grevelingendam: WNW and 20 knots of wind with little rain.

Many surfers were sailing with 4.7 to 5.5, so the choice was easy:
Banazai 5.3 on the Goya One 95 with 26/8cm thruster fins
Planing directly from the shore, on open water even more wind. Right away jumping on the way out. Jumping on the way back: wonderful!
Wind was strong, with sail at max I could certainly still sail, but it was certainly strong enough to sail with the 4.7 as well, which is less tiring.

Banazai 4.7 on the Goya One 95 with MFC 25/8cm thruster fins
I could even plane the 4.7 directly into the bay. Sail just didn't seem very stable. Back to the shore, trimmed the sail again: perfect. Did not change anything after that. Downhaul and outhaul were both too low. There were a lot of nice waves. But unfortunately there was also quite a bit of seaweed. Especially in the shallow water at the other side, so I tried to stay in the deep water as much as possible. But unfortunately there was also seaweed in the deep water. I had a catapult: 3 times, it had been a long time since I had a catapult: too bad!

Unfortunately did not sail so much lately. Dont have the best surf condition, so sailed not as long as I would have liked, wind was really perfect.

Wind was great, stable and perfect direction for the Grevelingendam. Sun even came through every now and then, no rain. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of seaweed, especially in the shallower water. Time to buy a few weed fins?

Grevelingendam

12:30 0.5 hour Wind: W/NW
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - Makani Kaku 26cm/MFC QS 2x8cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Sail quickly on max trim and still a lot of power, not overpowered, Control was good, but could easily sail with a size smaller.
26cm with 8cm thrusters worked well, board ran nicely and fast and loose.
13:00 2.25 hour Wind: W/NW
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - MFC Freewave 25cm/MFC QS 2x8cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 4.7 - Goya Ninety Pro 370 - AL360 E3 Carbon 140-200
Had to search for the right trim. Had too little downhaul and outhaul in the beginning. Eventually sailed with almost max trim. Control good and power of the Banzai good, always planing. 25cm with 8cm thrusters was a good choice. Didn't feel too big and could get upwind well while set ran nice and loose and fast. Backside wave riding was also very good.
