Lovely afternoon, finally warm
Not fit, had to be home on time, wind would be good from 2am, not much time, but with 19 degrees and sun predicted, an afternoon not to be missed.
On arrival, the first surfers were just on the water with 5.0 and 5.3, they could plane.

Water was flat and with north wind it can be gusty, so to be save, took the F-Cross.
Banzai 5.3 on the F-Cross 113 with MFC 32cm
Just a bit of the beach enough wind to plane. Beyond the measuring pole: full power. Water fairly flat, so the F-Cross was perfect. The 32cm was big enough, good control, good enough upwind and never spinouts. Jibes are good, especially near the beach in the flatter water it was wonderfully to do planing jibes. After the jibe, downwind to get speed again and then pick the first steep wave: take-off, sometimes quite high! Wonderfully long run, jibe and repeat.

Wind increased slightly, tide had stated to come in, waves became clearly higher and with that it became more difficult to sail with the F-Cross 113. I was already quite tired, but I really wanted to sail a bit more. So grabbed the Goya 95.

Banzai 5.3 on the Goya One 95 with MFC 22,5/10cm
It takes some getting used to, the One really sails more like a waveboard, so more over the front foot. Water was quite chaotic, few really beautiful waves or the direction of the waves not useful for wave riding. Sometimes there was still a ramp to jump when going out. Soon completely empty, time to stop.

Unfortunately, the stamina is gone after having been sick twice last month, so quickly tired. The weather was lovely. Wind not too gusty and clear blue and finally not too cold.

14:15 2 hour Wind: N
Board: Patrik F-Cross 113 - MFC Freewave 32cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked very well. Could always plane. Could get upwind good enough. Control wasvery well. I'm getting better at jumping with the F-Cross. Sail on medium trim with upper outhaul eye. Set ran pretty fast, almost freerace feeling.
16:15 0.5 hour Wind: N
Board: Goya One 3 Pro 95 - MFC Freewave 22,5cm/MFC TF 2x10cm
Sail: Goya Banzai Pro 5.3 - Goya Eightyfive Pro 400 - AL360 E3 Carbon 160-220
Set worked well. After the F-cross it takes some getting used to, different stance needed on the board. More control. Not really waves for waveriding. Only did a few jumps.
